Underwater Metal Detector - The best in class

An Underwater metal detector is a special type of detector that, you guessed it, is built to find treasure underwater. There is several different types of underwater metal detectors, but the most commonly used our beach metal detectors. These allow you to search along beaches and in shallow surf as well as in lakes and rivers.

I happen to love the seashore and water environments of all types so it was worth investing in a more specialized type of metal detector for this specific use.
